Principal's Message

Welcome to Bonita STEAM Academy! It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your principal and to join a school community that is deeply committed to the success and well-being of every student.

As a proud LAUSD graduate, my educational journey has come full circle. I began my career with the District right out of high school and have dedicated my professional life to supporting students, families, and schools. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of educational leadership roles, experiences that have reinforced my belief that strong schools are built through meaningful relationships, high expectations, and a shared commitment to student success.

At Bonita STEAM Academy, we believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things. Through our focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), we provide students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. At the same time, we remain committed to building strong academic foundations in literacy and mathematics while fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to learn.

Our success is made possible through the partnership of our dedicated teachers and staff, supportive families, and engaged community. Together, we create a school culture where students are encouraged to be curious, take risks, and develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
